About the Role:

Pine Haven Family Medicine PA is a small private family practice looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Randleman, NC. Responsibilities:

Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures

Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EMR system

Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform routine diagnostic tests (EKGs, phlebotomy, urinalysis)

Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits

Manage prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under provider direction

Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and appointment scheduling

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols

Requirements:

Current CMA certification (AAMA, AMT, NHA, or equivalent) required

Experience in a family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinical setting preferred

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) software

Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail

Excellent bedside manner and patient-centered communication skills

Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment

CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
