Lead, Food & Beverage Operations - Universal Kids Resort Apply now Job no: 654460 Work type: Casual (Part-Time), Regular (Full-Time) Location: Frisco Categories: Food & Beverage, UDX - Professional Generic Job Summary Responsible for monitoring the operation of assigned Food & Beverage location, including leading and training Team Members, ensuring Guest service standards are met, and operational readiness of indoor and open-air locations throughout Universal Kids Resort. Responsibilities Assist Management and Supervisors with the consistent execution of Guest service and operational standards. This includes assigning and monitoring the Team Member’s breaks, jumping into position when necessary, de-escalating Guest situations, and seeking out ways to improve the efficiency and service being provided by Team Members at the venue. Responsible for the consistent execution of world class Guest service, operational standards and motivating Team Members. Conduct daily shift meetings, engage in safety spot talks, and document Team Member performance. Aid in the dissemination of general company and venue specific forms of communication. Effectively apply the UDX service model to satisfy and resolve the needs of the Guests and Team Members. Monitor and report deficiencies in equipment and facility quality. First point of contact for Team Members. Perform on-the-job training of new Team Members, working closely with Management to ensure that Team Members have successfully completed their training plan. Monitor trainees throughout their onboarding and training to ensure operational proficiency. Meet with Team Members to review their training progress, address concerns, document training-related issues, and ensure Team Member readiness for job responsibilities. Perform all administrative duties related to the daily opening and closing of venues. Ensure daily staffing levels and rotation schedules are adjusted according to park attendance. Maintain daily reports, overtime reports, and safety checklists. Maintain operating supplies, review timekeeping to ensure that time is properly entered based on job code and functional area. Approve daily scheduling request changes. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Experience 6+ months of leadership experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
