This role blends creative excellence with technical rigor-translating brand vision into manufacturable, compliant, and best-in-class packaging solutions. You will partner closely with Product Development, Brand, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to deliver packaging that is both iconic and operationally sound. Key Responsibilities Packaging Design & Development
- Design primary and secondary packaging across all beauty categories.
- Translate brand strategy and product briefs into distinctive, functional packaging concepts.
- Develop dielines, structures, and artwork in collaboration with engineering and suppliers.
- Ensure all packaging reflects SKIMS Beauty's visual identity, tone, and premium positioning.
- Partner with Creative and Brand to evolve packaging systems and design standards.
- Work closely with Product Development, Regulatory, Quality, and Operations to ensure packaging is compliant, scalable, and manufacturable.
- Support packaging readiness for new product launches.
- Prepare production-ready files, specs, and documentation.
- Review proofs, samples, and pre-production runs for accuracy and quality.
- Partner with packaging suppliers and manufacturers on feasibility, cost, and timelines.
- Participate in vendor reviews, sampling, and troubleshooting.
- Support sustainable packaging initiatives and material innovation.
- Identify opportunities to improve functionality, cost, and environmental impact.
- 4+ years of packaging design experience in beauty, cosmetics, consumer products, or luxury goods.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating packaging design, structural thinking, and brand expression.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Adobe Dimension, Cinema 4D, Blender, Artios CAD or a similar 3D mock up tool
- Working knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and production workflows.
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced product development environments.
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail and craft
