Aurora Medical Spa has an immediate opening for a Licensed Aesthetician at our Columbia, MO location. We're looking for a skincare professional who is serious about results, genuinely invested in their clients' skin health, and ready to grow within a practice that has spent nearly two decades setting the standard for medical aesthetics in Missouri.

About the Role

This is a full-time, in-person position performing advanced skincare treatments for Aurora's established Columbia clientele. You will carry out individualized consultations, design and deliver customized treatment plans, and serve as the primary skincare relationship for a growing book of clients who rely on your expertise.

Active Missouri Aesthetician license is required. Cosmetology licensure alone does not qualify for this position.

Responsibilities

Core clinical and client-facing duties at our Columbia clinic.

• Conduct in-depth skincare consultations and build individualized treatment plans for each client
• Perform a full range of advanced aesthetic treatments with precision, consistency, and clinical care
• Recommend and educate clients on home care products, treatment sequences, and aftercare protocols
• Cultivate strong client relationships that drive rebooking, retention, and referrals
• Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of all treatments and client records
• Work collaboratively with injectors, wellness providers, and front desk staff to deliver integrated client outcomes
• Keep all treatment rooms clean, organized, and maintained to Aurora's professional standards

Qualifications

Required

• Active Missouri Aesthetician license - current, valid, and in good standing (note: cosmetology license alone does not meet this requirement)
• Clear, professional communication with clients and team members
• Demonstrated attention to detail in a clinical or client-facing environment
• Authentic passion for skincare outcomes and client wellbeing

Preferred

• Prior experience in a medical spa, dermatology office, or results-focused aesthetics practice
• Hands-on exposure to advanced modalities such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or device-based treatments
• Existing ties to the Columbia, MO community or Mid-Missouri region

Full-time, 36-40 hrs/week; mix of 8- and 10-hr weekday shifts
