Connected Factory Engineer
AbbVie
AbbVie seeks a Connected Factory Engineer to support manufacturing operations platforms and integrations. The role involves technical stewardship of data and integration capabilities across the shopfloor, working with tools like Ignition, OSI PI, Kepware, and AWS Cloud Services.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing solutions and identify optimization opportunities within manufacturing systems
- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs
- Develop system documentation including architecture drawings and technical specifications
- Build and execute test protocols to validate solutions meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; ensure secure, compliant system operation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years relevant experience; or Master's degree
- Experience with Ignition, Kepware, OSI PI, HighByte, and/or AWS Cloud Services
- Strong analytical, communication, and consultative skills with clients and IT teams
- High attention to detail and focus on deliverables
- Proficiency across software design, programming, data integration, and cloud environments
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration abilities
