Registered Nurse - Float Pool

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse in a float pool, providing direct patient care across multiple hospital locations. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, address patient and family needs, develop and coordinate care plans, administer treatments and medications, evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to unit-based decision-making. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a specialty training program; ability to float between multiple hospital sites; strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills; commitment to safety, quality, and evidence-based practice. Key Duties: Complete assessments, plan and deliver patient-centered care, evaluate responses, collaborate with healthcare team members, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in safety and quality improvement activities. Environment & Schedule: Clinical setting with rotating day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays; (0.9) FTE, 36 hours weekly, with three 12-hour shifts.
