Job Title

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma; proficiency in typing and computer skills; working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment

REPORTS TO: Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs and supervises the usual office routines and practices associated with a productive and smoothly run office.

Maintains such student records as shall be required.

Obtains, gathers and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form.

Performs any bookkeeping and data entry tasks associated with the position.

Makes arrangements for conferences and meetings.

Coordinates appointments of Assistant Superintendent and directs such to proper person.

Handles the correspondence relating to the position.

Maintains professional development records for all certified staff.

Assists Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education as needed.

Maintains correspondence and data entry of all student suspensions.

Assists with all textbook orders.

Maintains confidentiality.

Abides by all district policies and state and federal laws.

Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 240 day contract
