Payroll AdministratorAs a Payroll Administrator working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of an accurate bi-weekly payroll for all team members utilizing a 3rd party vendor system. In addition, work as a member of the People Services team, maintaining effective communication channels with team members and providing excellent customer service to all levels of leadership and team members throughout the organization.We trust that as a Payroll Administrator you will:Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for multiple companies in multiple statesAudit bi-weekly payroll to ensure accuracyMaintain accurate ADP employee files and payroll recordsProcess new hire, status changes, and termination paperworkGenerate manual checksAssist with garnishment paperwork and enter appropriate deductions in the payroll systemComplete Employment VerificationsEnsure regulatory compliance and all other related payroll policies and proceduresHandle and resolve employee inquiries relating to payroll issuesPrepare various payroll reports, from routine to complex, for People Services and division officesWork well in team environment, forming a partnership with customers, and delivering world-class customer serviceAct with integrity and be seen as widely-trusted, direct, truthful and credibleYou are willing to perform other duties as assignedWhat you will need: (competencies, behaviors & attributes)AccountabilityCommunicationIntegrity/TrustOrganizationProblem SolvingResponsivenessAbout you:Associates degree or equivalent work experience requiredMinimum 1-4 years ADP (Workforce Now) and related custom reporting experienceExperience with Workday or similar HCM is a plusStrong computer skills with extensive working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office softwareExperience handling multi-state payroll. California experience a plusExperience with equity, stock options and RSU's a plusAbility to assist others during peak timesAttention to detail and focus on accuracySelf-motivatedAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationMust be able to plan and organize workload appropriately to meet deadlinesFLSA Status: Non-ExemptWill have responsibilities such as:This position is considered a non-exempt position for purposes of wage-hour law, which means that you will be required to keep a time record and will be eligible for overtime pay.Essential Functions:Successful job applicants will be able to perform these functions.
