Our vision of inspiring a resident-centric focus is brought to life by our core values: Integrity, Respect, Service, and Community.The Senior Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing full-cycle, bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees with a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of payroll records, auditing time and attendance data, managing employee pay changes, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The Senior Payroll Administrator works closely with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies, administer garnishments and withholdings, and respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality. Additionally, this role supports payroll audits, system data integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the payroll function.The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and service, in alignment with CCMC's core values of Integrity, Respect, Service, and Community.ResponsibilitiesProcess full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employeesMaintain payroll records with a high degree of accuracy and integrityAudit time and attendance records; calculate wages, overtime, and supplemental payExecute payroll changes including deductions, tax status updates, and employment changes (transfers, promotions, terminations)Accurately calculate and distribute final wages in compliance with state lawsResolve payroll discrepancies in collaboration with HR and Finance departmentsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsAdminister wage garnishments, child support orders, and tax withholdingsMaintain accurate employee data in payroll and HRIS systemsOversee paycard enrollment and distributionsRespond to payroll-related employee inquiries in a timely and professional mannerAssist in internal and external payroll auditsParticipate in payroll-related projects and process improvementsUphold strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll informationPerform additional duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience processing multi-state payrollProficient in Microsoft Excel and ADP Workforce NowStrong knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance standards, and tax requirementsCertified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferredHigh attention to detail and excellent organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCompetenciesAccuracy and Attention to Detail - Ensuring precise payroll calculations, maintaining error-free records, and upholding compliance standards across multi-state jurisdictions.Payroll Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge - Demonstrating thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws, tax requirements, and employment regulations.Communication and Collaboration - Effectively partnering with HR, Finance, and employees to resolve payroll issues and explain complex payroll matters clearly.Physical RequirementsLifting: Occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs.) of files or office materialsMobility: Walking in office areasWorking conditions: Primarily performed onsite or hybridExtended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or eventsManual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devicesWe are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible work environment.
