Job Title: RN Staff Facility: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Department: Same Day Surgery Shift: Day Pay Range: $47.85 - $60.60 per hour Location: 94 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039 Required Certifications and Licenses Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating. Current New Jersey RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association only). Completion of all Orientation requirements. Successful completion of all Orientation Programs. Scheduling Requirements DatShift Part Time 22.5 hours per week Every other weekend is required. The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs. Essential Functions Organize and administer individualized age‑specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.
