We’re hiring Seasonal Parking & Transportation Staff to join the Silverton Christmas Market team! This festive event runs from November 20 – December 31 and features more than 2 million lights, vendors, food, attractions, and holiday fun. ✨

Our Parking & Transportation team helps create a smooth and welcoming arrival experience for Christmas Market guests. We have positions available to direct guests in our VIP parking area and provide golf cart transportation for guests who need additional assistance.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

VIP Parking Attendants – Welcome arriving guests, scan parking passes using a handheld device, direct vehicles to available parking spaces, and help keep the VIP parking area safe and organized. Parking Attendants also help monitor designated accessible parking spaces and assist guests with parking-related questions.

Golf Cart Shuttle Drivers – Provide golf cart transportation between the Oregon Garden parking lot and the entrance to the Silverton Christmas Market for guests who need additional assistance. Drivers interact directly with guests throughout their shift and should be comfortable safely operating a golf cart while providing friendly and helpful service.

• Be part of the first impression for guests arriving at the Christmas Market
• Provide friendly and helpful service to arriving and departing guests
• Help maintain safe and organized parking and transportation areas
• Work outdoors as part of a busy event team
• Help guests who may need additional assistance getting to and from the Market entrance
• Help create a smooth and welcoming arrival experience

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable interacting with guests
• Safety-minded and attentive to your surroundings
• Strong communication skills and able to provide clear directions
• Comfortable working around vehicles and in active parking areas
• Comfortable standing and working outdoors for extended periods
• Able to work in cold, rainy, and changing winter weather
• Available to work evening shifts, typically around 4:30–9:15 PM. Shift times vary by position and event needs.
• Golf Cart Shuttle Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check
• Previous experience operating golf carts, shuttles, delivery vehicles, grounds equipment, or similar vehicles is helpful for Cart Drivers, but not required
