Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Assist physicians and Cath Lab personnel in performing diagnostic tests and procedures and operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Neuro experience required.
• Must have procedures experience including cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, and balloon angioplasty.
• Experience with GE imaging systems and documentation systems such as Meditech and MacLab.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced cath lab environment and work collaboratively with RNs and tech staff.

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from CCI preferred.
• ARRT (noted as preferred in unit preferences).
• Previous cath lab or travel experience preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00-17:30.
• Call requirements: maximum 15 days of call during critical periods; STEMI call team coverage noted.
• Unit staffing: typical day shift includes director/manager and minimum staffing levels for rooms; approximately 22 staff including RNs and techs.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 in procedure rooms.
• Type of equipment: GE imaging rooms.
