Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Tech to support the cardiac catheterization department at a prominent healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized technical support during complex cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor Phillips and GE imaging equipment during procedures.
• Assist physicians with catheter insertion, device deployment, and patient positioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures using Meditech and Mac Lab systems.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all interventions.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT, CRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
• Possess current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab.
• Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work independently in a rapid environment.
• Previous travel or fast-paced unit experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Philips and GE imaging systems preferred.
