Key Qualifications:

• Current state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or within educational environments preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and best practices for school-based OT interventions
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students to determine need for OT intervention
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Work in partnership with teachers and educational staff to support classroom success
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on best practices to encourage student achievement in and out of the classroom
