Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Compton, California

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available in Compton, CA, starting on September 16, 2026, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This role supports a retail pharmacy environment with strong technician coverage, providing an excellent setting for pharmacists who value teamwork and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Check and verify prescriptions prepared by pharmacy technicians.
Provide counseling and guidance to patients regarding their medications.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

Valid and active California pharmacist license.
At least one year of recent retail pharmacy experience.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.
