Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment at an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Clive, IA.
Details
- Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 50 beds dedicated to severe injury and illness recovery
- Occupational Therapy department serving primarily adult neurological and orthopedic patients — no pediatric cases
- Patient ratio of 5:1
- Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Weekend hours are negotiable
- No call or float requirements
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of OT experience
- AHA certifications required
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides customized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
