Copywriter — AI & Content

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

About the Role

We're looking for a Copywriter who knows how to think, write, and work with AI at a high level.

This is a brand-new role at StormWind, which means we're looking for someone who is excited to help shape what the role becomes. You'll be responsible for traditional copywriting and content creation, with a heavy focus on email, while using AI to amplify your productivity, creativity, research, editing, and overall output.

We're not looking for someone who simply knows how to ask ChatGPT to write an email. We're looking for someone who understands how to work with AI strategically —including AI agents, skills, workflows, and the tools that help you produce better work faster.

You'll have room to experiment, test new approaches, and help us figure out how AI can make our content operation more effective.

What You'll Do

• Write compelling, polished copy across email, web, social, campaigns, sales materials, and other marketing channels.
\n
• Develop both traditional copywriting and longer-form content depending on the needs of the business.
\n
• Write and optimize high-volume email content, including promotional, educational, nurture, and campaign emails.
\n
• Translate complex technology, IT, cybersecurity, and training concepts into clear, engaging content that resonates with our audience.
\n
• Think strategically about messaging, audience, positioning, tone, and calls to action—not just the words on the page.
\n
• Use AI tools, agents, skills, and workflows to dramatically increase your ability to research, ideate, draft, edit, repurpose, and produce content.
\n
• Experiment with different AI tools and workflows to determine what produces the best results.
\n
• Use AI as an editorial partner to improve clarity, grammar, structure, tone, and overall effectiveness while maintaining a strong human voice.
\n
• Help develop repeatable AI-assisted content workflows that increase the team's output and efficiency.
\n
• Collaborate with marketing and subject-matter experts to understand products, audiences, and campaigns.
\n
• Learn quickly and adapt as we continue defining the scope and priorities of this new role.
\n
• Maintain a high standard for accuracy, originality, brand voice, and quality—even when using AI extensively.
\n

What We're Looking For

Strong writing comes first. You should genuinely enjoy writing and have a strong understanding of what makes copy effective.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a background in copywriting, content writing, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field .
\n
• Can demonstrate excellent writing through a portfolio, writing samples, or relevant work.
\n
• Is highly comfortable using AI and considers it an essential part of their workflow.
\n
• Understands how to use AI for more than basic prompting.
\n
• Has experience working with AI agents, AI skills, automated workflows, or other advanced AI capabilities .
\n
• Has experimented with multiple AI tools and has developed a personal toolkit for getting work done efficiently.
\n
• Understands how to use AI for research, brainstorming, drafting, editing, repurposing, and quality control.
\n
• Has strong editorial instincts and can recognize when AI-generated content is generic, inaccurate, repetitive, or off-brand.
\n
• Thinks strategically about the purpose behind the content—not just how to make it sound good.
\n
• Can learn new technology and subject matter quickly.
\n
• Is curious, adaptable, and excited to experiment with new tools and approaches.
\n
• Can balance speed and efficiency with high-quality, thoughtful work.
\n

Experience & Education

We're open to a range of experience levels.

You may be an experienced copywriter looking to take your AI capabilities to the next level, or you may be early in your career with exceptional writing ability and unusually strong AI skills.

A degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is helpful but not required.

What you can do matters more than how long you've been doing it.

• B2B, technology, SaaS, IT, cybersecurity, or training experience.
\n
• Experience building AI-powered workflows or using AI agents to accomplish real work.

• A demonstrated ability to use AI to increase both the quality and volume of your output.

• Experience using multiple AI platforms and knowing when to use the right tool for the job.

• Experience with AI-assisted editing, research, content repurposing, or automation.
\n
• A natural curiosity about where AI is going and how it can change the way marketing teams work.

The Ideal Candidate

You're a strong writer who happens to be really good at AI .

You don't see AI as a replacement for good writing—you see it as a way to make a great writer more capable. You know when to let AI do the heavy lifting and when your own judgment, creativity, and editorial instincts need to take over.

You're comfortable saying, "There's probably a better way to do this," experimenting with a new tool or workflow, and figuring it out.

And because this is a new role, you're comfortable with some ambiguity. We don't have every part of this position figured out yet—and we want you to help us figure it out.
