*AV Preeminent–rated boutique law firm seeks two Litigation Associates*—one with *2–4 years* of civil litigation experience and one with *4–7 years* of civil litigation experience, with an interest in *product liability/toxic torts*. These roles offer the chance to work on complex, high-stakes civil litigation cases, benefit from mentorship by seasoned litigators, work alongside attorneys with decades of courtroom and trial experience, and advance your skills in a variety of challenging cases. The firm is based in downtown Oakland’s vibrant core, near City Hall and transit.

*Role 1: Litigation Associate (2–4 Years) – Product Liability/Toxic Torts*

This position is ideal for an associate with *2–4 years of civil litigation experience* who is interested in building a *product liability/toxic torts* practice. You will take on meaningful responsibility, develop your writing and advocacy skills, and work directly with clients under the guidance of experienced litigators.

*Role 2: Litigation Associate (4–7 Years) – Product Liability/Toxic Torts*

This position is ideal for an associate with *4–7 years of civil litigation experience* who is interested in *product liability/toxic torts*. Ideally, you have experience taking depositions, supporting trial preparation, and working with experts. Trial experience is not necessary but would be beneficial. This role offers an opportunity to grow in litigation and help implement the defense of clients in statewide and national litigation, including developing case strategy and coordinating across matters.

This role also offers the chance to work on other complex, high-stakes civil litigation cases spanning medical malpractice, employment, and business/commercial disputes.
