What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License (required)
• Experience teaching in K-8 settings, especially charter schools, highly valued
• Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support personnel
• Knowledge of best practices in special education
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for fostering inclusive and supportive classroom experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a K-8 special education caseload with individualized support
• Develop and track Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver targeted interventions and differentiated instruction
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participate in school-based training and continuous professional development
