Ultrasound Tech | Arvada, Colorado
$27.45 - $50 per hourSoliant Health
An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled ultrasound technologist specializing in general and vascular imaging. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging expertise, supporting clinical teams with high-quality sonographic services. This contract position requires commitment to a fixed overnight schedule and periodic weekend on-call responsibilities.
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 9:00pm-5:30am OR 10:00pm-6:30am
- Weekend on-call: Backup call every fourth weekend
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience in general and vascular ultrasound (excluding ABIs and segmental pressure studies)
- Proficient in all general and vascular sonographic techniques
- Current ARDMS certification required
- Valid and active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to perform independently during overnight hours
- Commitment to delivering accurate, empathetic patient care in a fast-paced environment
- Perform high-quality general and vascular ultrasound exams as ordered by providers
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, explaining processes and answer questions
- Adjust and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain optimal images for diagnosis
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient management
- Accurately document procedures and maintain records in accordance with facility protocols
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout scheduled and on-call duties
