Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Behavioral Health Float Pool

Location: Avera Behavioral Health Center-Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $24.50 - $33.75 (Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.) Position Highlights This position floats to all of Behavioral Health Inpatient units, The Link, BHS Urgent Care, and Behavioral Health Adolescent Addiction Unit. Participates with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient‑centered health care plan. Implements nursing interventions within a patient‑centered health care plan. Assists in the evaluation of responses to interventions. Provides for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Advocates for the best interest of the patient. Communicates and collaborates with patients and members of the health care team. Assists with health counseling and teaching. Delegates and assigns nursing interventions to implement the plan of care. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Board of Nursing with an active state license upon hire. Must be able to work the hours specified. Must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily, including visual acuity, communication, hearing, and understanding speech and sounds.
