CNC Machinist – Day or Night Shift | $18–$28/hr Location: Willoughby, OH Shift: Day Shift – Monday through Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional Friday overtime) Night Shift - Sunday through Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM Hire Sync is hiring a CNC Machinist for a day-shift opportunity in Willoughby, OH. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist with experience operating and programming CNC lathes and mills who enjoys working in a structured, team-oriented manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do: Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines based on blueprints and technical drawings Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials Load, verify, and run CNC programs prior to production Write or modify G-code programs as needed Make real-time machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency Perform first-article inspections and in-process checks Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety policies and procedures What We’re Looking For: 2–5 years of CNC machining experience (lathe and/or mill) Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and basic programming Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T Experience machining materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastics Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude Good problem-solving skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team High school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus Certifications are a plus Why Work with Hire Sync: Hire Sync partners with manufacturers that value skilled trades professionals, consistency, and quality workmanship.
