Account Manager

About the Team: The sales team drives business growth and customer satisfaction through strong relationships, customer engagement, market analysis, and sales strategy. The team collaborates with engineering, product management, and logistics to introduce new products and enhance existing ones, ensuring compliance with industry standards and fostering a positive work environment. The position can report out of our North Mankato, MN, Northville, MI or Vernon Hills, IL location.

What You Can Look Forward To As Account Manager:

Defend and grow business with assigned customers in North America
Ensure customer satisfaction in products, price, quality, service, and technology
Build connections with customer engineering teams and decision-makers
Manage customer relationships through virtual and in-person meetings (25%-50% travel)
Support quality and logistics discussions
Work on new RFQs and ensure timely delivery of offers
Collaborate with ZF functions to deliver on-time responses
Solve technical and commercial issues, coordinating internal resources
Support operational planning and manage price lists and adjustments
Ensure KPIs are under control and identify new market opportunities

Your Profile As Account Manager:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields; Master's preferred
7+ years of experience in Sales Management (B2B; preferably Tier 1 suppliers)
Experience in complex/matrix organizations
Technical knowledge of complex engineering products
Proactive, assertive, and good communication skills
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Willingness to travel in North America (and sometimes overseas)
Proficient in MS Office and SAP
Demonstrated integrity and commitment to continuous improvement
Fluent in English

The Expected Base Compensation For This Role Is $103,800 To $125,000 Annually. Actual Base Compensation Within The Identified Range Will Vary Based On Factors Relevant To The Position.
