Real Estate Paralegal – Shelton, CT We are working with a well-established Connecticut law firm seeking an experienced Paralegal to join its Real Estate team. This is a hands-on transactional role with a strong emphasis on real estate closings, while also providing the opportunity to support a sophisticated commercial and residential real estate practice. The ideal candidate will have meaningful real estate transactional experience and be comfortable supporting matters from contract through closing and post-closing. Strong closing experience is particularly important, including preparing closing statements, coordinating closing figures and documents, and keeping transactions moving toward completion. The practice handles a mix of commercial and high-end residential real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, financings, refinancings, and other transactional work. Qualifications: 5+ years of real estate paralegal experience preferred Strong experience with real estate closings and commercial and/or residential transactions Experience preparing closing statements, coordinating closing figures and documents, and reviewing title and other due diligence materials Ability to independently manage transactions, closings, and competing deadlines Strong organizational, communication, and client-service skills with excellent attention to detail Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate paralegal who enjoys being actively involved in transactions and wants to play an important role in a busy and established real estate practice.
