Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a General Radiologist. Visa Sponsorship Available.

Salary $580,000, Sign‑On Bonus $200,000, Yearly performance incentive $20,000, Transitional Stipend $10,000, Robust Fringe Benefits.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of 12 Radiologists.
• Installed equipment includes PACS, Flash and Edge CTS, 3.0T MRI and 1.5T MRI, PET/CT, Ultrasound Units with 3D/4D.
• Hologic Digital Breast Tomosynthesis Systems.
• Starting salary: $580,000. This compensation represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation.
• Sign‑on bonus $200,000.
• Yearly performance incentive: $20,000.
• General DX Radiology – Light IR optional (drainage biopsies, PICC lines, arthrograms, tubes and changes). No angiography required. Additional compensation available.
• Reasonable RVU requirement with ample internal moonlighting opportunity available.
• Multi‑Specialty Group, Closed Medical Staff.
• On‑site and Hybrid practice opportunities.
• Visa Sponsorship Available – J‑1 and H‑1B candidates welcome.
• Teaching opportunity available: Medical school affiliated with Columbia University.

Job Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MBBS.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified.
• NYS Licensure.
• BLS Certification Required.
• General Radiologists with subspecialty fellowships and interests.
• Proficiency in General Radiology including Diagnostic, CT, US, MRI and Nuclear Medicine.
• Preference to MSK, Breast Imaging & PET.
