Requirements Bassett Medical Center Cooperstown, NY Orthopedic Surgeon Needed ABOS Board Eligible or Board Certified Active NY License RequiredMax Bill Rate: $3500 daily/24 hour call rate Start Date: October 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing Schedule: 24-hour coverage. Average of 1 call-in per week Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per week Practice Setting: Hospital-based orthopedic trauma coverage Responsibilities: Provide orthopedic trauma call coverage Evaluate and treat orthopedic trauma patients in both inpatient and emergency settings Perform operative and non-operative orthopedic trauma procedures as clinically indicated Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Procedures Required: Yes Routine orthopedic trauma coverage and procedures Support Staff: APP Hospitalist coverage during daytime hours, Teal Team coverage nights and weekends Additional physician coverage needed Requirements: ABOS Board Eligible or Board Certified Active NY License Experience in orthopedic trauma practice required Trauma fellowship preferred but not required EMR: EPIC Credentialing: ASAP
