Locums Interventional Radiology Physician in Cooperstown, New York - No Call, Low Volume Focus primarily on interventional radiology with a manageable daily patient volume, weekday-only onsite coverage, and no call responsibilities. Highlights No call responsibilities Approximately 5-8 patients per day Interventional-heavy workload Practice & Cases Inpatient coverage alongside other interventional and diagnostic radiologists Approximately 60 percent interventional and 40 percent diagnostic radiology Biopsies, drainages, tube and line placements, nephrostomies, and biliary drainages Diagnostic interpretation includes X-ray, CT, and ultrasound Schedule Monday through Friday Eight-hour workdays with a lunch break Daytime onsite coverage Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology required Active New York medical license required ACLS and BLS required Logistics Lodging and rental car provided Mileage provided - airfare is not covered We can discuss the weekday-only schedule and interventional-heavy case mix to see how the coverage fits your availability.
