The TL;DR Role: Full Time Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Fort Worth, TX Team: Reports directly to managers and Partners of Sproles Woodard, LLP. Mission: To uphold the firm’s commitment to excellence by ensuring accurate and comprehensive client financial record-keeping across corporate accounting, tax services, auditing, and financial planning. Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, QuickBooks (desktop and online), Shopify, Vend, Intuit, Energylink What You’ll Actually Do Accounting Cycle Management: Oversee all aspects of the accounting cycle for clients, specifically managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. Transaction Processing: Accurately process all forms and bills, ensuring proper classification of financial transactions and comprehensive record maintenance. Vendor Payment: Manage accounts payable processes, including issuing timely payments to vendors. Account Reconciliation: Perform thorough reconciliations for bank, credit card, and investment accounts to ensure accuracy. Tax and Reporting Support: Provide assistance with Sales Tax, Payroll Tax (State and Federal), and annual information returns for small businesses, in addition to tracking classes and jobs for accurate financial reporting. The Must-Haves Background: Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with QuickBooks (desktop and online). Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor and strong interpersonal abilities when interacting with colleagues and clients. Possess self-motivation, responsibility, and exceptional follow-up and tracking capabilities. Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail. Work independently and proactively in managing workload while actively contributing as a team player.
