Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient - $2,335 per week

Job Overview Travel Physical Therapist to serve in Valdez, Alaska for a 13‑week assignment (40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts). Travel assignment with TNAA TotalMed Allied. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute plan of care for diverse patient populations in an acute care setting. Oversee and supervise PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the setting following guideline and facility procedures. Comply with PT board rules and regulations and respective state requirements. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to coordinate team‑focused plan of care. Evaluate and provide adaptive equipment as needed. Modify plan of care based on patient condition progression. Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation per state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience (new graduates encouraged). Exceptional candidates may be considered with 1 year of experience. BLS certification and state‑specific Physical Therapist license. Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of state PT board regulations. Ability to work in an acute care setting.
