Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and disabilities.
• Creating and implementing customized treatment plans to address individual patient needs.
• Providing continuous education to patients and their families regarding treatment goals and exercises.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure an effective continuum of care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records in compliance with approved documentation standards.
• Participating in leadership functions, including community outreach initiatives and quality improvement processes.
• Supervising and mentoring support staff, including PTA, aides, and students.
• Attending staff meetings and engaging in ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients, ranging from acute injury recovery to rehabilitation for chronic conditions. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Exceptional written and verbal Communication Skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer applications.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist is required, candidates with specialized training or certifications in orthopedic or rehabilitation therapy will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is also desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
