AI Security Architect

Support three parallel AI initiatives within a single program:
AI Gateway design and strategy
AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM)
Shadow AI discovery and governance
Partner with project teams to refine control objectives and expand early-stage requirements
Translate requirements into scalable, enterprise-aligned solution architecture
Identify gaps across AI security, identity, and infrastructure capabilities
Design AI gateway architecture to support internal, external, and customer-facing AI interactions
Contribute to identity strategy focused on agentic and workload identity across AI systems
Define approaches for identifying unsanctioned AI, including:
AI deployed internally without governance
External SaaS AI tools used by employees
Develop requirements for tools and processes to detect and manage Shadow AI assets
Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards and efficiency goals
Provide architectural guidance without direct responsibility for implementation

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Security Architect or Solutions Architect
Strong understanding of AI architecture design, focusing on deployment and infrastructure rather than usage
Experience with AI gateway concepts including LLM gateways, agent-to-agent interactions, MCP, and skills execution
Deep knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), including:
Workload identity
Agentic identity / agent core identity
Anchored identity concepts
Strong cloud architecture experience, preferably in Azure
Familiarity with deploying or designing AI services in cloud environments (e.g., Azure AI, Bedrock, Foundry)
Experience translating control objectives and early-stage requirements into scalable solution architecture
Ability to identify functional gaps and align with enterprise architecture standards
Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills


Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Microsoft Agent Framework (MAF), Azure AI Foundry, or Bedrock Agent Core
Exposure to AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM) tools or frameworks
Experience evaluating or designing enterprise AI gateway solutions
Understanding of Shadow IT / Shadow AI discovery methodologies
Familiarity with SaaS AI governance and unsanctioned AI usage detection
Background in large enterprise environments
Financial services industry experience
