Group Life Coordinator 2 Position: Group Life Coordinator 2 at MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility, Woodburn, Oregon. Salary: GLC1 hourly $23.15 – $31.20; GLC2 hourly $27.83 – $35.22 (non‑PERS). Job Overview In this critical role you will help maintain a safe, secure environment for youth ages 12‑24, supervise and support them, and enforce all policies to enable treatment goals. Responsibilities – A Day in the Life Coaching, confronting, and correcting youth behavior as necessary. Observing and documenting youth behavior and participation in programs. Monitoring youth for potential health and safety risks, including suicide prevention. Conducting security inspections and searches of youth living units. Administering medication under indirect supervision of medical staff and maintaining contact with medical staff. Additional Details Multiple Positions : Recruitment will fill current and future vacancies at GLC1 and GLC2 levels. How to Qualify GLC2 Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Six months full‑time experience observing, evaluating, developing, and monitoring human behavior and performance. Certificate or associate degree in behavioral science, education, criminal justice, or a related field. Under‑fill – GLC1 Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Special Qualifications 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Physical Abilities Test (PAT) Applicants must demonstrate: Hand and finger dexterity. Lifting 6‑165 lbs over 54 feet. Capacity to kneel, bend, turn, stand, reach, and crawl. Completing 15 step‑ups on a 12‑inch step platform. Running or jogging 100 yards. Holding body weight in a push‑up position for 50 seconds. Holding a 6‑lb medicine ball at chest level for 40 seconds. Completing the circuit twice with a 1‑minute break. Acceptable 20/30 vision with a peripheral vision of 160° at 20 feet. Binaural hearing in the 500‑2000 Hz range and 20‑60 dB.
