Family Practice PhysicianOur Health Center is looking for a Family Physician to join our growing team. Are you passionate about providing quality healthcare to patients from all backgrounds?We are looking for a Family Physician to join our Community Health Center in Lancaster. Our health center provides necessary healthcare for underserved patients in the community. We believe in patient-centered, high-quality, trauma-informed care that focuses on healing the whole person, and the community. In addition to a base salary, we offer bonus pay and a relocation stipend if you do not already live in the area.This position will play vital role in our Health Center's primary care program. Successful candidates will be able to provide comprehensive medical services for adult patients. Ensure that there is patient follow up when necessaryInitiate and follow through on specialist referrals. Communicate with specialist providers when necessaryServe as a clinic supervisor for mid-level providersMeet productivity standards for care providers, including a goal of seeing 16-24 patients dailyParticipate in care team huddles, provider meetings, and all-staff meetingsPerform all other related duties as assignedEducation:At least 3 years of experience in a related role outside of residencyLicensed to practice medicine in the state of CaliforniaDEA certificateCPR CertificationSkills / Experience:Interest in helping the underserved populationFQHC Experience a plusFamiliarity with Quality Measures a plusAble to be successfully credentialed by our organizationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBilingual (English and Spanish) a plusPhysical Demands:This is a physical position that will require standing on your feet, and walking.This would require the ability sit, walk, bend, or stand as necessary, and ability to lift up to 25 poundsOther physical demands of the position include but are not limited to:Use of hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controlsRepetitious movementsSit for long periods of timeBend and twist the bodySee details of objects nearbyReasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the positionPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:This is a Full-time position.
