Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in De Soto, KS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Tue06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Wed06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Thu06:45 AM - 03:15 PM Sun06:45 AM - 03:15 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of offices, common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with access control processes for authorized personnel and guests. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports and logs, following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
