About the Position

License: Valid state nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI required. Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required. - Ability to work every other weekend is required. - Previous travel experience is required. - Candidates must comply with grooming standards for fit testing. Description: We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. First-time travelers are not accepted. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting. Workdays vary per week, with an opportunity for weekend block scheduling. Every other weekend shifts are required (Saturday/Sunday). There are no on-call requirements. Candidates must have certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS. Experience with EPIC charting is necessary. The facility is a certified stroke center and specializes in high-risk pregnancy care. Additional required skills include arterial line management, intubation assistance, and care of ventilated patients. The candidate will need to manage a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics. The average daily census is 125 patients, with a patient ratio of 5:1. Travelers may be required to undergo an OSHA respirator clearance process before starting. Please adhere to all provided protocols, including grooming standards for fit testing.
