Position Overview Mortgage Express is currently looking for driven and customer focused individuals to join our team as Loan Officer Assistants. This position is a great opportunity for anyone interested in beginning or advancing a career in the mortgage industry. Team members in this role will receive hands-on training and mentorship while learning the fundamentals of mortgage sales and client service. After 90 days of employment, employees will have the opportunity to participate in our Mortgage Loan Originator licensing program, designed to support their transition into a licensed Loan Officer role. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients through inbound inquiries and outbound outreach Speak with borrowers to understand their financial objectives and identify suitable loan options Guide clients through available mortgage products, loan terms, and qualification requirements Stay up to date on mortgage programs, lending guidelines, and regulatory standards Maintain clear and timely communication with clients throughout the loan process Work closely with processors, underwriters, and internal teams to help ensure smooth loan closings Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients Self motivated, organized, and goal oriented Prior experience in sales, finance, or mortgage is helpful but not required Obtain a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license (training and support provided) Base salary (1M plan) plus competitive commission and bonus opportunities Comprehensive paid training program led by in house industry professionals Health, dental, and vision insurance options Clear paths for career growth and advancement within the company Compensation Range $80,000 - $160,000 per year 401(k) Health insurance Work Location In-person, Bingham Farms, Michigan #J-18808-Ljbffr
