Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Decatur, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit with continuous cardiac monitoring
• Perform neurological assessments and apply clinical knowledge to neuro patient populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Neurological nursing experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
