Minimum Qualifications Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: HS/GED, Associates of Science in Ophthalmology preferred. Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) from Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology. Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program. Work Experience: One year experience in Ophthalmology/Optometry setting preferred. Equipment Operated: Preferred experience with operation of Diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc. Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Bilingual Skills Required, Languages: Spanish and/or Viet.
