Job Summary To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Minimum Qualifications Education / Specialized Training / Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Current CPR certification Work Experience (Years and Area): 2 years staff IR Technologist Equipment Operated: IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Writing / Composing (Correspondence/Reports) Other Skills: Analytical, CRT, Medical Terms, P.C.
