Fertitta Family College of Medicine. Job Summary To provide patient care and technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for diagnostic and evaluation purposes. Minimum Qualifications Education / Specialized Training / Licensure: Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Valid MRT license by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Certification in Vascular‑Interventional Radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred; Current CPR certification. Work Experience: Minimum 2 years staff IR technologist experience. Equipment Operated: IR equipment, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment. Special Requirements Communication Skills: Above average verbal ability (heavy public contact). Writing / Composing: Effective correspondence and report writing. Other Skills Analytical thinking. Computer Resilient Technology (CRT). Medical terminology. Professional communication (P.C.).
