Key Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping and receiving, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages.
- Maintain a tidy and professional shop and entryway environment.
- Coordinate the shipment of materials between DoorDash offices and labs.
- Support facilities coordination, including furniture assembly and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
- Serve as the main point of contact with facilities management to resolve operational issues swiftly.
- Assist the Concept Engineering team with operational projects to enhance workspace efficiency.
Requirements:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable working in a shop environment.
- Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams and vendors.
- Valid US driver's license and ability to travel within the Bay Area.
Preferences:
- Experience in shipping/receiving or facilities operations.
- Familiarity with the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Hands-on skills for light assembly and shop support tasks.
- Experience coordinating with facilities management or operations teams.
