We are currently recruiting a Physician | Hematology Oncology for a prominent medical center in Paducah, KY .


Job Description

• Monday-Friday - 8a-5p with potential of 3-6 night call shifts per month (5p-7a)
• Oct Start
• 100% Adults
• 95% clinic; 5% hospital
• 70% Oncology; 30% Hematology
• EPIC EMR
• Support Staff: Outpatient Support staff - MA assigned to them. Midlevels help with follow ups and new (Hematology) patients only. Midlevels will not be available for new (oncology) patients.
• Avg patient census: 22/day; 2-3 new consults

• New patient appointments - 30 mins
• Follow up appointments - 15 mins
• Average # of patients seen per day: 18-22 - currently at higher end.
• Can they start credentialing for someone while the KY license is in process if we find IMLC candidates? Yes
• What is the reason for the need? We have an influx of patients transferring from a competitor in town, due to the loss of physicians at that facility.

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified Hematology or Medical Oncology [REQUIRED]
• Hematology/Oncology Fellowship [REQUIRED]
• KY State License or IMLC (LOQ in hand at time of submission) [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• COVID Vaccination [REQUIRED]
• BLS & ACLS [REQUIRED]
• Outpatient/Inpatient Hem/Onc [REQUIRED]
• Intrathecal Chemotherapy [REQUIRED]
• Intracavitary Chemotherapy [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
• A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) [REQUIRED]
