Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Concord, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you’ll help create a welcoming environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will use customer service and communication skills to support employees and guests while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Screen visitors, credentials, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with established access-control requirements for a technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor entry points and report access concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
