You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:Analyze and break down software requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test casesAbility to write test cases in Jira and conduct testingTest the product and drive resolution of defectsDevelop and maintain automated test scripts (as needed) using industry-standard automation tools, such as Selenium, to ensure efficient and accurate testingBuild a risk-based test plan focusing on business-critical flows, edge cases, and negative scenariosExecute automated test scripts and report any defects or issues found during testingYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related subject or equivalent experience5+ years of functional testing experience5+ years of experience with SQL querying3+ years of proven experience in automation testing, with a strong understanding of test methodologies and best practices2+ years of experience in testing for batch processing and UNIX/Linux environments, including validating job scheduling, file handling, scripting and troubleshooting in production environments to ensure process integrity and operation efficiency2+ years of experience with Azure1+ years of experience in extracting and managing test data based on project requirements, perform definitive testing and write appropriate test cases1+ years of experience in REST API Testing using Postman6+ months of experience in QA Testing with IBM Transformation Extender (WTX) maps, including designing, developing, executing test cases, and maintaining map solutions to ensure data accuracy and compliance6+ months of experience in testing with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) / IBM Workload Scheduler, including validating job scheduling processes, monitoring batch jobs, and troubleshooting scheduling issues to ensure reliable and efficient workload automationPreferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience working within the healthcare payments domain, including claims payment and remittance processing3+ years of experience in using automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks2+ years of experience with payment industry standards, protocols, and security best practices, including data protection and compliance requirementsExperience collaborating with onshore and offshore teams to support deployments, resolve deployment related issues, and ensure adherence to release governance processes835 file expertise/knowledge, test file creation, payment processing*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
