Full-Time Phlebotomist

The Senior Phlebotomist performs clinical laboratory duties including specimen collection, waived and moderate testing, and EKGs. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen processing, troubleshooting, and ensuring accurate test results while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Qualifications require a high school diploma, Washington state-certified Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist license, completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, and BLS certification. Experience of at least 1 year in phlebotomy and strong communication skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include over 2 years of blood draw experience, knowledge of lab information systems, and proficiency in EKG procedures. Skills needed include attention to detail, organizational ability, teamwork, and compliance with safety and privacy standards. Physical demands involve lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and manual dexterity. Candidate must be adaptable, possess good judgment, and demonstrate professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
