MRI Technologist Weekender Days

Role: MRI Technologist I responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, analyzing data for diagnosis, and assisting licensed practitioners. Key Duties Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper identification and preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and care. Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate images for quality and proper positioning. Verify data storage, assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures, and educate or monitor students and healthcare providers. Apply safety principles to minimize risks, select suitable pulse sequences, and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills Certified by ARRT, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with MR certification; graduate of a radiologic technology training program; preferred bachelor's degree related to the field.
