American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a community hospital setting requiring 1+ years of experience and Siemens MRI platform proficiency.

Short term acute care hospital with 387 staffed beds

Outpatient, inpatient, and occasional ED patient population

Outpatient caseload limited to patients with pacemakers or requiring anesthesia, limited number per day

Approximately 12 cases per day

Procedures include Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal imaging

Additional imaging includes Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Perfusion, Spin Echo, MIP, and MRP

Uses Siemens MRI equipment, surface coils, and PACS system

Cerner EMR preferred

3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday through Sunday

On-call required as needed

No floating to sister facilities

Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience

Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification

Florida license required, license required if applicable

Community hospital work setting experience required

Siemens MRI equipment experience required

Proficiency with contrast media preparation/administration, T-1 and T-2 weighted images, and PACS

Experience starting peripheral IVs preferred

Active Florida or Compact license required at time of consideration

Date of birth required for consideration

Perform MRI imaging across abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal regions

Navy, khaki, or wine colored scrubs required

COVID-19 vaccination required with medical or religious exemptions accepted

First-time travelers will be considered

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Local candidates are not accepted

No RTO permitted in contract

Former BayCare employees must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler

Travelers must be willing to float within the assigned hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
