Insurance Coverage Attorney

The position focuses on representing insurers in coverage analysis, declaratory relief actions, and complex claims involving CGL, professional liability, excess, and specialty lines policies. The role combines litigation with advisory responsibilities and provides meaningful client interaction. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation. Conduct in‑depth legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal documents. Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Provide strategic legal counsel and negotiate settlements. Stay current with developments in insurance law and industry trends. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. 2+ years of experience in insurance coverage or insurance defense. Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $230,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
