About the Role We're looking for team members who lead with integrity, inspire excellence, and are driven to elevate the dining experience in senior living. This is a highly collaborative role that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, work across departments, and engage with diverse stakeholders—all while delivering exceptional experiences to residents and guests alike. Responsibilities Manage and update resident profiles and traycard tickets in ticket system. Ensure accuracy of diet orders and monitors food intolerances, allergies, and food preferences. Includes updating resident diets, supplements, adaptive equipment, and food preferences as needed and required. Attend required Healthcare meetings on a rotating schedule with RD in person and online as requested - schedule to be attached and is subject to change Meet with new admissions as needed utilizing the food preference questionnaire. Interview residents for nutrition-related information and other nutrition screening data Document nutrition information in medical record Assist the dietitian by maintaining accurate records of all interactions with residents. Consistently perform assessment communications in the medical record. Complete clear and concise notes in the medical record after each visit. Assist residents with food selection based on written diet orders, and suggesting appropriate, available substitutes while honoring residents preferences. Immediately notify the Registered Dietitian with any nutrition related concerns found when interviewing or working with residents or other interdisciplinary staff including but not limited to: significant weight loss or gain, decrease in appetite, poor appetite, changes in chewing/swallowing, refusal of food or supplements, and any other concerns that require the Registered Dietitian to address. Fill out required daily productivity sheet May develop and document nutrition education plan by determining resident needs, selecting appropriate resources and utilizing tools for effective teaching when requested by residents, medical staff or dietitian Support menu development and modifications using approved ThreeOaks diet manual to honor residents needs and cultural preferences/intolerances Utilize elements of a standardized recipe including portion control, cooking procedures, HACCP guidelines, food preparation procedures, nutritional analysis, and cost analysis to ensure effective and efficient menu planning Use auditing tools provided to audit consistency of food, tray line and meal ticket accuracy, test trays, dining room and kitchen sanitation audits as directed by manager. Ensure accurate preparation and serving of therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements Adhere to federal, state, and local guidelines and laws including but not limited to HIPPA, resident abuse, and Elder Justice Act. This role is considered a member of the dining services management team and must be available and prepared to work additional hours as business needs require, including peak seasons, inspections and special projects Any other duties assigned by the director of dining services Competencies Dependability: Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations. Expected Shift will primarily be 10:30am - 7:00pm, will be required to work every other weekend, and rotating holidays. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Two or more years of supervisory food service experience in a healthcare setting strong preferred Two or more years of supervisory food service experience required.
