Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant - Roselle, IL (100% Onsite) $90,000-$105,000 Base + Discretionary Bonus Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible role offering exposure to financial reporting, business partnering, strategic planning, process improvements, and acquisition activities. Key Responsibilities Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Financial Analysis & Business Partnering Analyze financial results and prepare variance reporting Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvements Provide financial insights and support decision-making across the organization Planning & Strategic Initiatives Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Partner with finance leadership on acquisition due diligence and integration efforts Assist with special projects and strategic growth initiatives Compliance & Process Improvement Coordinate external audits and tax-related activities Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures Recommend enhancements to accounting processes, systems, and reporting Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Manufacturing or industrial industry experience preferred Experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems Advanced Excel skills Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills Benefits 401(k) with Company Match Professional Development Life & Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Career Growth Opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
